Motivation

Hi, my name is Duy and today I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 11th grade student study in an international school, By the time I'm writing this blog it's almost one o'clock in the morning. The other friends of mine must be in bed at this time. So why I have to do this? What is my motivation for doing this.

The answer for that is my grade. Yes, it's nearly the end of the final semester I my grade will determine whether I'll pass this class or not. Unlucky, I'm at the edge of failing and there will be tones of problems happen with my family if I fail this class. So that is the motivation for me to keep doing this blog.

Motivation can understand through the dictionary is an external aspect cause people to be continually to do a job, a role or a subject, to make an effort to attain a goal. Everything we do in this world needs a motivation. There are a lot of theories about motivation and one of them is the Maslow's Hierarchy Theory. Maslow has created the need of hierarchy, and they were listed in 5 levels, from low-to-high order. Every single human has to satified with lower needs before moving to higher-needs. Base on Maslow, people are all trying to reach the highest level. Therefore, they have to satisfy the lower-level and that is their motivation.

Like I mentioned, everything we do need a motivation. This theory of mine can also apply to fix some of the 21st century issues. What motivate us to fix an issue? Take nuclear energy for an example and you want poor people, hunger to pay attention on that problem. Well, they might not even care of it because they’re too hungry. Their lower level needs of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of them aren’t satisfied. Therefore, they won’t able to reach the top-level: problem solving. Because of this, to motivate a person to take a part in fixing the world’s issues, you have to make sure their lower-level needs are satisfied.
