Biodiversity

Biodiversity is the richness of genetic resources, breeding, species and ecosystems in nature.
Biodiversity is considered under 3 level:
Biodiversity at the species level includes all living organisms on Earth, from bacteria to plants, animals and fungi.
At the population level of biodiversity including the genetic differences between species, genetic differences between populations living in different geographical isolation, as well as differences between individuals living together in a community.
Biodiversity also includes the difference between the communities in which living species and ecosystems, where the species as well as the biomes exist and all the differences of the relationship cooperation between them.
Vietnam is rated as one of 15 countries with biological diversity (biodiversity) high in the world. But due to the many natural elements, pollution, invasive species invade, especially the impact of humans through various means such as deforestation, overfishing is considered to be the original ... main contributor to the decline increasing biodiversity.
Statistics show that the country has more than 21 thousand species of plants; nearly 16 thousand species of animals; 3,000 species of microorganisms and fungi mainly concentrated in some areas of high biodiversity, such as Hoang Lien Son Mountains, north of the Tay Nguyen, Southeast ... However, Vietnam and more countries in the world, is facing a serious deterioration of ecosystems rich in biodiversity. The total number of animals and plants in their natural wild endangered our country is now 882 species (listed in the Red Book, 2007), an increase of 161 species compared with the previously published Red Book (year 1992-1996). Worrying, there are nine animals (rhino horns, cow gray, tapir, otter civet, carp original Japanese eels, fish brackish lower body, spotted deer, crocodiles lilac) and two species lan comedy is considered extinct in the wild ...
The statistics of the Department of Conservation biodiversity (VEA) shows: There are 94 species of plants and 48 species of aquatic invasive. In particular, there are exotic aquatic species in Vietnam in large numbers, such as yellow snails, mimosa trees ... so do not be controlled, closely examine the situation should have occurred outbreak in the wild. Consequently, the dominant invasive species, depleting species, genetic resources, disrupting the structure and function of ecosystems. Destroying crops, reducing crop yields, livestock and even affect human health ...
